About the event
The mission of Ruck Iowa is to facilitate fun physical events for veterans, develop lasting relationships, promote positive mental health, and build camaraderie.
Ruck Iowa is hosting a free local hike event for veterans that align with their mission statement. Come on a leisurely hike through the town of Clear Lake, IA and build connections with fellow veterans. A meal will be provided at the end of the event as well as door prizes. The hike will start and end at the VFW in Clear Lake, IA.
Although the hike is for VETERANS (anyone who has served or is currently serving in any military branch) ONLY, civilian volunteers may only help at each stop and can't participate on the hike itself. We ask that both veterans AND volunteers register.
